Recently Little S has proven that he is ready for crayons at restaurants , he colored with them, he played with them and he didn't try to eat them so yay!!!!! for being a big boy. Up until now if the server left the crayons they went into mommy's bag, if they asked I said no to the crayons, so mommy has a stash of little crayons in all our travel bags that we can now pull out whenever we need to entertain. This has actually come in handy before when we were at a nice restuaruant and the table behind us had a few little girls who needed a distraction. I over heard the mommy say man I wish this restaurant had crayons or something. I pulled out a a couple packages and cheerfully handed them over. The girls were able to play quietly and the mom and dad could hold a conversation.
Today the dinosaurs broke into my crayon stash and took a package, then they got together and worked on a word search. Even these tiny crayons were bigger than the little dinosaurs so they had to work in teams of two.
Little S was so excited to see them playing with the crayons he helped them finish coloring the page.
