11.13.13 World Kindness Day Inspired Lunch

Today is world kindness day which made me think of things that kindness means, peace came to mind first it seems difficult to show kindness while shooting at someone, a smile can warm up any day and flowers are a nice kindness.

I made Little S a lunch inspired by the idea of world kindness:

Main Compartment:

Peace Nachos - I used food coloring, and a wet Q-tip to add peace symbols to his chips - I added shredded cheese and heated until melted for his Nacho lunch. The shredded cheese isn't pictured here so it didn't obstruct the view of the peace signs.

Smiley Face - American Cheese face with candy eyes and a food coloring mouth. The simplest kindness we can give anyone is a smile.

Together they form a peaceful kind flower.  (This is as hippie as I get)



Top Right Compartment:

Mommy's Trail Mix - Cheerios, Roasted unsalted Peanuts, and a few Milk Chocolate Chips


Bottom Right Compartment:

1/2 an orange cut into smiles. Little S is still a bit too young to have realized you can wear your orange wedges as a smile so I cut these thinner so they would be the shape of a smile themselves.
