I am late coming into the month of Dinovember. My sister was kind enough to share a post she had seen on Facebook of a father who turns the month of November into Dinovember. In November he has his child's plastic and toy dinosaurs create mischief like the elf on the shelf. My schedule from Thanksgiving to New Year's is really full. We celebrate Hanukkah (dates vary), Saint Nicholas (Dec 5-6), Winter Solstice (around Dec 20), advent calendars all month, Yule, and Christmas. Wheewww that's a lot going on to add in a Elf on a Shelf project also in comparison during November outside of holiday shopping and a big dinner I seem to have free time. Today was my first foray into Dinovember.
To be honest Little S has Dragons not Dino's so I had to bust out the ones I have stashed for lunches and crafts and plan to give the kid some dinosaurs over the next year.
Day 1 of Dinovember 2014 adventures
Jurassic Park Field Trip
The dinosaurs all got up super early while it was still dark outside and loaded into the stolen sesame street school bus. The dinosaurs had made their own school like banner to hang on the bus and attached it before heading out on their first adventure.
They arrived just after 5am in the kitchen waiting for their little boy to come to breakfast. The pterodactyl needed more wing span than the bus would allow with all the tails so he decided to ride on top of the bus.
They concluded their tour at the highchair of little S.
